Simple Shadow Wedding Band for Engagement Puzzle Ring (Puzzle Ring Not Included)

Our simple shadow band is our best-selling wedding band. It complements every style of engagement puzzle ring beautifully. We usually make shadow bands to go with open-weave puzzle rings, but we can make yours to go with whichever puzzle ring weave you have.

Please note that on this page, you may order the shadow band only. Puzzle rings are not included.
We show sample bridal sets with two puzzle ring weaves:

Open weave: The 14K rose and 14K white gold bridal set has an open weave puzzle ring.

Standard weave: The all 14K white gold bridal set has a standard weave puzzle ring.

Tight weave: The trinity knot puzzle ring which has a very close weave is shown with a tapered wedding band, rather than a shadow band. The tapered band is beautifully sculpted to mate to the shank of the puzzle ring. We often make a tapered partner wedding ring to match. If your puzzle ring is tightly woven, we would like you to consider a tapered wedding band as is shown in the third sample image. However, if your heart is set on a shadow band, we will make it for you.

Precious metals: We can make this ring in 14K white, yellow, or rose gold; or platinum. If your engagement puzzle ring is made with four colors of 14K gold, we generally pair that with a 14K white gold shadow band, as it’s important to mate a shadow band to a puzzle ring band of the same color.

Shadow band width:  We make this simple shadow band in various widths from 1.7mm to 2.5mm, usually depending upon the stone size of the puzzle ring.

Shadow band weight: The typical weight goes with a medium-weight puzzle ring. You may select a heavier weight to go with either a medium-heavy or heavy puzzle ring.

Ring size: Choose your ring size to match your puzzle ring size. If it’s been many years since you got your puzzle ring, and you don’t recall your size, please request our sizer when you order your shadow band.

Please note: We must take possession of your engagement puzzle ring for the six weeks or so that we make your shadow band. This is the only way we can make the rings mate perfectly.
