One of Shakespeare’s most beloved Sonnets, 116, is inscribed beautifully on an ethereal bangle bracelet with an unusual twist. Each side of a Mobius strip bangle has no beginning and no end, as the sterling silver sinuously twists to meet itself in a never- ending loop. The words to Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116:

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.

The geometric form known as the Mobius strip is named for German mathematician August Ferdinand Mobius [1790- 1868]. It represents the seeming paradox of a plane without end, or one of infinite length. It’s thus accepted as a symbol of infinity, which is an appropriate form upon which to place the profound words of this important verse. Size: The inside diameter fits a wrist measuring 8 in. or smaller, though if your hand is a little bigger, this bracelet adjusts slightly. Contact Mandira at either phone number at the top of this page or by email to learn how, if you receive your bracelet and find that you cannot wear it. The bracelet is an elliptical shape approximately 2-13/16 in. x 2.5 in. (72mm x 64mm). The width varies from 3/16 in. to 5/16 in. (about 5mm to 8mm).

Posy jewelry is lovingly hand-crafted in the U.S. by the time-honored lost-wax casting method. Includes history card, organza jewelry bag, and gift box.
