Rabbi Shlomo Yitzhaki [1040-1105 CE]. more widely known by his acronym, Rashi, is considered by many to be the greatest of the interpreters of the Talmud, the Holy Book of Judaism. Many editions of this scripture include his succinct commentaries, which are revered by both scholars and laypeople for their clarity and simplicity. From Rashi’s interpretation of Devarin [Deuteronomy] 18:13, comes this phrase, a guide to being receptive and accepting of “what is”, a beautifully mindful stance:

Receive with simplicity everything that happens
