The Latin amor vincit omnia translates as love conquers all, a motto known to all students of English Literature as the one engraved on the brooch worn by the prioress in Chaucer’s 14th Century Canterbury Tales. The original ring, from which this is licensed, is now in the collection of the Department of Medieval and Modern Europe, British Museum, London.
