Item # NYP002R-WG
A short, tender, and romantic message, ot dushi in modern Russian, meaning from my soul, is finely engraved in decorative Cyrillic letter-forms of extraordinary complexity on this uniquely beautiful ring. The letter-forms are from a Russian Art Nouveau pattern book circa 1900: An album of letters and initials, by K.D. Dolmatov, now in the collection of the New York Public Library. The lettering is spaced around a bold contemporary posy band and interspersed with classic Russian motifs.
Available in 14K white gold in whole and half sizes from 5 – 13 (UK/AU sizes J – Z+.75). Width is 6.4mm: weight 4.8 to 6gm; profile or depth: 1.2mm. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly with finger size of ring.
Antiquing: Please note that the antiquing (the usually soft medium-grey of the lettering and/or designs) on posy rings is hand-applied and thus varies from ring to ring. Two made at the same time will match each other. But we can’t guarantee the level of darkness or lightness achieved in your lettering. Thanks for your understanding!
Priced singly. Order two for a pair (choosing one size at a time and placing it in your cart). Includes a history card and a chic ring box. Hand-crafted to your order in the U.S. by the ancient art of lost-wax casting.
