The Celtic trinity knot – or “triquetra,” meaning triangle in Latin –  is a symbol with ancient heritage: it dates to pagan times and has deep meaning in Christianity as well. To the Celts, it is believed that endless knotwork represents the interconnectedness of all life. And to Christians, the trinity knot on a wedding band may symbolize the Holy Trinity or the souls of the couple and their Creator.

Precious metal: 14K white gold.

Celtic sizes and widths:
Size 4-8.5: Width 6.8mm
Sizes 9-12.5: Width 7.8mm

Weight: Heavy block trim. Our heavy Celtic rings are characterized by significantly thicker trim than the light weight bands have. All of our rings are available in heavy or light weight. Please contact us if you prefer the lighter weight.

Your ring will be lovingly hand-made and then individually assayed and hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office in Dublin Castle, the oldest continuously operating assay office in the world. “Assay” means to determine the metal content, namely how much gold is in the ring. 14K gold must have 58.5% gold and 41.5% metal alloys which are combined with 24K gold to make it stronger and to change the color from yellow to white or rose when desired.

How do you suppose that every ring has the correct amount of gold in it with no exceptions? Our Irish jewelers usually make sure there is a little extra gold in each ring so it will definitely pass the assay process. The designation on your ring will be 585, meaning 14K gold, along with the hallmark.

Our genuine Irish Celtic rings are absolutely, meticulously perfect in design and finish. You will find no finer Celtic rings!

Your Celtic ring(s) will be made to your order in Ireland. Expect delivery of:
Gold rings in 4-5 weeks
Palladium rings in 6-8 weeks
Platinum rings in 6-8 weeks

Before shipping from Ireland, your ring(s) will be individually assayed and hallmarked in the Dublin Assay Office in Dublin Castle, the oldest continually operating assay office in the world. This means that the metal content of your ring is verified, so this hallmark is positive proof of the precious metal content of your ring.

Metal content is shown in the European way:

10K gold is inscribed  ‘417’ meaning 41.7% gold
14K gold is inscribed ‘585’ meaning 58.5% gold
18K gold is inscribed ‘750’ meaning 75% gold
Palladium is inscribed ‘PD 950’ meaning 95% palladium
Platinum is inscribed ‘PL 950’ meaning 95% platinum
