The Celtic trinity knot – or “triquetra,” meaning triangle in Latin – is a symbol with ancient heritage: it dates to pagan times and has deep meaning in Christianity as well. To the Celts, it is believed that endless knotwork represents the interconnection of all life. And to Christians, the trinity knot on a wedding band may symbolize the Holy Trinity or the souls of the couple and their Creator.
Precious metal: 10K white gold.
Celtic sizes and widths:
Size 4-8.5: Width 6.8mm
Sizes 9-12.5: Width 7.8mm
Weight: Heavy flat rims.
Your ring will be lovingly hand-made and then individually assayed and hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office in Dublin Castle, the oldest continuously operating assay office in the world. “Assay” means to determine the metal content, namely how much gold is in the ring. 14K gold must have 58.5% gold and 41.5% metal alloys which are combined with 24K gold to make it stronger and to change the color from yellow to white or rose when desired.
How do you suppose every ring has the correct amount of gold with no exceptions? Our Irish jewelers usually make sure there is a little extra gold in each ring so it will definitely pass the assay process. The designation on your ring will be the European “585”, meaning 14K gold, along with the hallmark which is your guarantee of quality!
Our genuine Irish Celtic rings are absolutely, meticulously perfect in design and finish. You will find no finer Celtic rings!
