Stone Properties For several years our dear friend, Francie Meza, managed one of our stores and taught all of our staff about animal totems and crystal properties. She had been trained from the age of 5 by her Native American medicine-man grandfather. Much of the information above was written by Francie. We are ever grateful for her input.
Some people ask, "Do stones really have the power to change us?" This is an interesting question and the answer for you has a lot to do with how you see the world and the universe. Frankly, the simple answer is, "No object has more power than the power that is inside you."
If you believe the scientific view of the universe as a whole that is entirely made of energy, then it is possible that your spiritual view of the world is similar: that energy that we call God pervades every cell of our being and every molecule of "inanimate" objects. We may sense the truth of this in different ways. Those who can feel the vibrational energy of objects report that stones each have their own energy that we can tune into and use in our growth.
For those who don't "feel" the energy on that level, our view is that we may be subtly influenced by the energy of stones regardless.
And, happily, we can offer this: Even the "suggestion" that a stone can provide a boost to our process of growth and discovery can be helpful.
