Above is a Guinevere Puzzle Ring with a princess-cut .48CT diamond. The size range for a "half-carat" diamond is approximately .47CT to .53CT. This ring is shown with an open weave using medium weight, 16 ga., wire.
Generally, the smallest diamond we put in this style of ring is a .45CT diamond, but we could go smaller, if you request it. |
The Guinevere puzzle ring above, shown with a one-half carat diamond is the only one we've done so far (probably because we only recently posted this image) with the setting oriented N-S-E-W and the diamond sides parallel and perpendicular to the sides of the ring. Standard weave using 16 ga medium-weight wire. |

| The Guinevere Royale puzzle ring above is created with a one-half carat center princess-cut diamond and two accent 5-point rubies. A one-half carat center stone is the minimum size for the Guinevere Royale. Standard weave, using 16 ga, medium-weight stock wire. |
The one-half carat pink sapphire is flanked by five-point acccent diamonds, and this Guinevere Royale puzzle ring is woven with four-colors of 14K gold: yellow, white, rose, and green. The bride, who lives in Japan, wanted a ring that would represent a lotus flower opening. Open weave with 16 ga, medium-weight stock wire. |

This Guinevere puzzle ring shows a .78CT diamond on a medium-heavy puzzle ring in platinum. For gemstones of 3/4CT to 1CT, this is the weight of puzzle ring we use, so the ring will be sturdy enough to support a stone of this size.
