created from a 1921 Paul Klee watercolor painting
now in the collection of the Guggenheim Museum.
The words are from Solomon's Song of
Songs, Chapter 1, Verse 2. The design of the
ring is actually the painting wrapped around the
ring. There is a tiny image of the painting on
the story card that accompanies this ring. Paul
Klee was one of the most highly regarded artists
of the 20th Century. He was the first European
artist to have his work shown at the Museum of
Modern Art. His work never became tied to one
style - rather he continued to grow as an artist
through reexamining and redefining themes and
forms within his large body of work.
You may choose 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold or platinum
under this listing. Available in whole and half sizes 5 through 12.5
(UK/AU size J - Z). This ring is approximately 11.6mm wide. Please use our poesy

Please note that the antiquing (the usually soft medium-grey of the lettering and/or
designs) on Poesy Rings is hand-applied
and thus varies from ring to ring. Two made at the same time will match each other.
