The two images above shown the one-third carat marquise (pronounced Mar-KEE) available in diamond and colored gemstones (sapphire, left, and diamond, right). We recommend this size if you are looking for an engagement ring in the $1,000.00 to $1,500.00 price range, because this is the smallest size available on our marquise puzzle rings, and so it represents the most modestly priced diamond or colored gemstone marquise puzzle rings available.
The actual size range goes from .30CT to .35CT, depending upon availability. You can feel very good about giving this size stone, because it is big enough to make a very positive impression.

Approximately .375CT - .42CT available in diamond only. We recommend this size range (.41CT shown), because for only $350.00 more than a 1/3CT diamond, you can have a lifetime guaranteed trade-up value, one-free year of insurance against loss of the diamond, and more. These benefits come with all diamonds of .375CT or greater.

A diamond of .45CT is shown. We recommend a diamond of approximately .43 - .46CT, because it looks much like a 1/2CT stone, but it costs $500.00 less.
Diamonds of .375CT size or greater also come with a laser-inscribed serial number, so they are individually identifiable.

This one-half carat size is available in diamonds and colored gemstones. We recommend this stone size, as well, because it is THE most popular engagement ring stone size in the world. (Actual range for diamonds = .47CT - .53CT; colored stones tend to be cut to standard sizes, so most will be .50CT, but we've occasionally seen .52CT).

.60CT size is available only in diamonds, although not all the time. This one is Mandira's favorite size: "I absolutely adore the look of this ring, and it has another benefit. It's bigger than a one-half carat diamond, but it represents only $1,000.00 more in price than a one-half carat stone, whereas to move up to a .7CT size can mean an increase of up to $3,000.00 over a half-carat, depending upon the quality of the diamond." (Actual range = .57CT - .63CT)

.68 - .72CT is usually available in either diamond or colored gemstone. We recommend it, because this is the largest size stone we can place in a puzzle ring without going to a heavier puzzle.
