We

whom we've partnered since 2002. Norm has been making

The third is our Six-Way Diamond Guarantee. No other online diamond retailer can offer you the extensive guaranteeswith which we routinely provide our customers. In addition, our world-class diamond supplier has only three tightly controlled sources for their diamonds. These mines are in Canada, Russia, and South Africa. (Our Canadian diamonds are not inscribed with a maple leaf, as they are not part of Canada's marketing program for Canadian diamonds.). We regret that we cannot tell you from which of the three sources your diamonds originates.

Here is
a message from our brilliant and talented puzzle ring artist and
fine jeweler,
Norman
Greene:
Inspect
your Diamond First
"On
rings with 1/3 carat and larger diamonds, I can send you the
diamond before it is mounted, if you wish. That way you can see
the size and quality and approve it before I set it on your ring."
Grades
of Diamonds
There
are different grades of diamond to choose
from. The higher grade is VS. In the
VS stones, internal flaws are difficult
to locate with 10x magnification. The
lower grade is SL1, which have flaws
which are easy to locate with 10x magnification.
In either case, the diamonds show no
flaws to the unaided eye. The higher
price of the better diamond makes no
visible difference.
Diamond
Sizes
There
are different sizes available in the
Marquis shape as well as in a round or princess-cut (square) diamond.
Prices increase fast as the size increases
over 1/3 carat, but stones of up to 3/4
carat in either shape will fit nicely
on the "Marquise" style of puzzle ring. For larger gemstones or diamonds, I create a heavier puzzle ring so the gemstone is adequately supported. The larger wire gauge looks great with the larger stones.
There are many sizes in this range
to choose from. Please email or
call Mandira at 1-866-573-7381 to let
her know what you are looking for, and
I will locate a diamond to meet your
specifications and price range. I can
mount it on one of my rings for you.
You may have it for several days to inspect
first, if you like.
Marquis
Diamond Ring Choices
The
Marquis diamond is shown mounted on a
4 band puzzle ring, but it can also be
placed on a 6 band. You can also choose
to put more than one color of gold in
the ring. Let Mandira know what you prefer. Talk to Mandira, also, about a princess cut or round stone.
3/8C
Diamonds and Larger
Each
3/8 carat (.375CT) and larger diamond comes with a certificate
specifying the weight, color, cut, and clarity. It is certified
to be a genuine diamond of the grade indicated, and signed by
a registered Gemologist. It also comes registered with Gemprint,
along with the laser refraction print of the diamond. The dispersal
pattern of laser light from a diamond is unique. So this print
of the laser light is the signature of this particular diamond.
Gemprint can tell your diamond from all others should identification
be needed.
Please email
Mandira about
your requirements in a diamond or puzzle ring. You may also call
her on her private toll-free line at 1-866-573-7381. She
and I will make sure you get exactly what you're looking for."

Mandira's message
to you about Norm and "Buying Diamonds Made Easy - Buying Diamonds
the Crystal Realm Way"
Norm's and Crystal
Realm's History
Several years
ago, I asked Norman Greene if we could offer his rings on our website to our customers for the same prices at which he offers his work.
I must have caught him in a weak moment, because he's not accepted
any other distributor for his jewelry in the last decade or so.
Norm said yes, and we've developed wonderful teamwork in the ensuing
years. He's been teaching and mentoring me on precious stones,
including diamonds, and his rings, ever since.
Personalized
Diamond Selection
I love working
with Norm, because he's a customer advocate, as I am. He has integrity,
and we both share the desire to educate you, so you can make an
informed purchasing decision.
Norm will individually select your
diamond especially for your ring, so you are getting all of his
energy and focus, when you decide to acquire a diamond through
Crystal Realm (be it for a custom woven puzzle ring or a Black
Hills Gold Bridal Set).
Norm's Hand-Woven Puzzle Rings
If you order a Puzzle
Engagement
Ring with a marquise, round, princess-cut, or any other shape of
diamond, your ring will be hand-woven. I have learned that there
is one other person in the coutry whose business is based on hand-woven
rings, but he's elderly now and most of his customers' rings are
made by employees or are made overseas. (Norm does a couple of cast rings, too, but
you'll find his hand-woven rings really stand out from all other
puzzle rings.)
Norm's
Special Gift - Choosing a Diamond You Will be Thrilled With
Norm's special
gift is in simplifying the process of choosing a diamond and saving
you money at the same time. He focuses almost entirely on how the
diamond will look on her hand (he does diamond rings for men, too!).
It must sparkle; it must look stunning!
Most diamond
jewelers will confuse the heck out of you by showing you a variety
of diamonds, each with its pros and cons. They love to have you
look at a diamond under a microscope. They show you a stone with
minor inclusions, only visible under 10X magnification, and then
they encourage you to spend more money to get flaws only visible
under greater magnification. The pressure from regular jewelers
to spend more is pretty relentless, as you know, if you've been
through the "drill."
Diamond Buying
Made Easy
Here's our philosophy:
you, your bride, your friends and families aren't going to be looking
at the ring under a microscope. Norm will not usually (unless you
ask for it specifically) put your money into greater quality that
can only be seen under magnification. He will put your money into
a little more size, a better cut, and less color. Your diamond
will be colorless or very near colorless. There will be no flaws
visible to the eye. And the cut, which is the main factor that
influences sparkliness, will be good to very good. It will sparkle.
We guarantee it!
To give you specs, the diamonds we use are typically SI1 or SI2,
with color in the D-E-F range for white gold or in the D-E-F-G
range for yellow gold. (The diamond color scale goes from D to
Z, so these diamonds are at the top of the color range.)
Don't get me
wrong - if you call us with specs for a diamond you wish
to have set in your ring, Norm will get you exactly what you ask
for, and he'll probably save you money, to boot. But I do find
that the majority of our customers want a simple thing: beauty
and sparkle at a reasonable price.
Fair Prices
We are able to offer better than jewelry-store pricing, as both Norm's
and my businesses have low overhead. We don't have to wrap high expenses
into your diamond price.
Crystal Realm's
Four-Way Lifetime Pledge
As always, you are protected by Crystal Realm's Four-Way
Lifetime Pledge. You
must be delighted or we will exchange or refund your money, even with
custom gold and diamond rings!
My Personal Pledge to You
In fact, my personal pledge to you is
that I will work with you until you are completely delighted with your
ring(s) or you have your money back! Since our diamond
supplier will allow us to return a diamond to them within 30 days of
the date Norm orders it, and this allows us to serve you optimally,
I will ask your cooperation in working with me to ensure that decisions
and
exchanges
and returns
are
made in
a timely fashion.
Thanks for visiting and reading our page!
Best wishes,
Mandira
