The rings you see below are part of our Poesy Ring Collection, licensed reproductions of historical rings now found in great museums of Europe and the U.S. Each has a loving, romantic sentiment on the inside or the outside of the band. (A few are contemporary rings with "period" poesies or sentiments.)

A brief yet romantically meaningful message, ot dushi in modern Russian, (meaning from my soul ), is finely engraved in decorative Cyrillic letter-forms of extraordinary complexity on this uniquely beautiful ring. The letter-forms are from a Russian Art Nouveau pattern book circa 1900: An Album of Letters and Initials, by K.D. Dolmatov, now in the collection of the New York Public Library. Platinum poesy rings are exquisite! They are the finest in every way - more brilliant, whiter, heavier and more solid than gold rings.
Platinum Poesy rings have a high-polish, with a matte finish in the recesses of design and/or lettering. Platinum rings cannot be antiqued, so the insides of the letters are matte, rather than the charcoal color of gold Poesy ring letters.

And why do platinum rings cost so much, you may ask? Gold is $400.00 per ounce. Platinum is $800.00 per ounce. Gold is alloyed with other metals, so you are paying less per overall ounce of metal. In a 14K gold ring, you are getting 58.5% gold. Platinum is used almost pure, and platinum is heavier than gold; so there is far more weight in platinum in a platinum ring than there is gold in a gold ring. Before you place your platinum order, or when you place it, please request a finger sizer from Crystal Realm This finger sizer exactly matches the Poesy ring sizes. Contact Us to request a free sizer. Once you've placed your order, you'll get our Free Size and Style Trial.
If you don't have time for the size trial, then we can work from an existing ring that fits you. If you do not have one that fits, it's best to purchase an inexpensive silver ring and wear it for a few days and then send it to Mandira so we can measure it and have your poesy ring made in the identical size.
Re-Stock Fees
There is a risk of having a re-stock fee if you have to return a ring to be re-made. (We can size them up or down a small amount for free. You would just pay the shipping each way. If you must have a platinum ring re-made, please be prepared to pay a restock fee of approximately 8% of the retail price of the ring. This is our poesy maker's fee.
Returning Platinum Rings or Cancelling Order
Although platinum rings may be returned, we try to minimize the possibility by taking the time to get the sizing worked out in advance of going to platinum. There is a $50.00 fee upon the cancellation of a platinum order once we have sent out the trial rings; 10% if you cancel after the rings have begun production.
If you get the finger sizer and trial rings and then cancel your order, upon return of the trial rings, we will refund your money, less shipping costs to date, and less the 5% or 10% cancellation fee, depending on when you have cancelled.
International Customers
At this time, we offer platinum rings and a Free Size and Style Trial to customers in Canada, UK, continental Europe, Australia, NZ and Japan. You may place your order with approximate sizes; we will air-ship size-trial sterling silver rings to you, along with a finger sizer. Allow 2 - 4 weeks for delivery. We ask you to cover the cost of the shipping both ways for the sizer and rings. (Approx. $55.00 total overseas; $19.00 to & from Canada.)
We hope to be able to expand our geographic reach in due course. ( APO addresses are always considered to be U.S. addresses.)
