We’ll Customize Your Layaway Just for YouIn Mandira's words, here's how your Layaway will work:
You decide how much you want to put down on your layaway and how much you want to pay each month. I'm okay with whatever you decide, as long as you pay something each month. In other words, if you're short of money one month, just email me and tell me to charge $5. or $10. to your card, so I know your layaway is still alive.
Think about how you can set up your layaway payments to suit you! Here are some examples of how some people have set up their layaway plans, which, by the way, can be changed anytime, according to your budget:Some people pay $100. down and $100. per month till the balance is paid
Some people take their total balance and divide it into equal payments to be made each month. So, for example, if the layaway is $600., a customer might decide to pay $200. per month for three months. Or, if the layaway is $3,000. a customer might choose to pay $750. each month for 4 months or $300. per month for 10 months, or $200. per month for 15 months.
Still others set up their layaway more traditionally by making a deposit of, say, 10 or 20 or 30%, and then divide the balance by however many months they want to take to pay it off, and pay that portion of the balance each month.Yet others pay a deposit, a monthly amount, and then a balloon payment if they come into some money or get a tax refund.

Setting Up Your Layaway
We can do your layaway set-up by email or by telephone. In either case, if you wish to pay with a credit card, we'll need to discuss credit card details by telephone, since email is not secure.

If you live overseas, send Mandira an email with your phone number and a good window of time in which to reach you in your time zone, and she’ll call you at the time convenient for you to discuss your layaway.
(If you're in Europe, it's best to give us Mandira an evening time to reach you).
Payments
Usually, our customers give us a credit card number for charging the deposit and regular payments for their layaway. We also accept money orders for payments, if you would rather mail in your payments. Please do not mail payments to the address at the bottom of each website page. We have a different payment address, which we give you upon setting up your layaway.Your Receipts
Once we’ve set up your layaway, we’ll document all of your payments by email. We recommend that you save all the emails in a folder, so that you’ll have a complete record of your payments and your balance.Layaway Cancellations
If you cancel your layaway, we keep a $15.00 cancellation fee plus 5% of the money you’ve paid up until your cancellation date.Delivery of Your Merchandise
When you make your last layaway payment, we ship your in-stock items to you or place your custom jewelry into production.
